We're still on cloud nine from our pop-up at Safari Spot in Seoul. Having the opportunity to showcase our favorite designers in their beautiful space was a blessing we won't soon forget. The number of people who showed up and partook in the festivities was staggering, and we are filled with joy at the possibility of saying hi to you all.
"This idea of finding communion in the appreciation of beautiful things, artistry, and artisanship will always be our raison d'être."
A big thank you to the whole Safari Spot team for the kindness, humor, and professionalism. The way you do things has deeply inspired us. This trip has only strengthened our belief in the reason we do this weird thing — a 'raison' wholly made possible by you all!
We'd also like to take a second to thank our good friends Lydia and Beumkyu — you guys are amazing! This whole thing wouldn't have nearly been possible without you guys putting in countless hours. Furthermore, thank you for showing us around the angular, ever-evolving city of Seoul. It's not every day we get to experience being driven around in an old Korean presidential car, listening to Bitches Brew, and getting blinded by billboard light. Our bellies are nice and big after all the food spots you took us to, and we'll always remember speaking softly while sipping drinks and admiring the skyline on our last day. It was love, and we can't wait to see you guys soon — we miss you already!
We were also lucky enough to have two live performances on the night — thank you to @jinahoho and @an.gwang.hyeon for bringing the space to life with music.
