YING CHANG - TWO COLOR PAPER MIRROR

Ying Chang is a product designer who graduated from The Royal College Of Art in 2014, these mirrors are part of her Malleable State Collection.

Each one is hand made by the multi-disciplinary artist in her London studio, this product enables you to have a piece of art in your home which is both aesthetically exciting and useful. The creative process involves layering up multiple sheets of coloured paper, crumpling the paper when wet and moulding the pieces around a circular mirror, sealing the mirror in the papers folds, the base is then coated in a water resistant finish which can vary from matt to glossy, often stickers are incorporated into the designs which are preserved under the applied finish.
