The Folded Chair is the outcome of an intuition-based method to create new ideas. The motivation is the process of creating, producing and pursuing the unique rather than the perfect. To throw oneself into the depths of the design process, where nothing is safe and expected, trusting new ideas to emerge.
The chair consists of 100% recyclable plastic. Sheets of plastic are heated and folded four times then cut off from the rest of the sheet and then a profile is made. The folded profiles are then heated again and bend around each other.
